Data deletion instructions

How to delete your data from Dizitallink and remove its access to your Facebook account.

You can ask Dizitallink to delete your data at any time. This page explains how, for business customers, for people who messaged a business on Dizitallink, and for anyone who connected Dizitallink to Facebook.

  1. Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Dizitallink data". Include your business name.
  2. We confirm the request within 2 business days and may ask you to confirm it is you.
  3. We delete your account, business details, contacts, messages, templates and AI business information within 30 days, and send you a confirmation code by email.

Deleting your account also disconnects your WhatsApp number from Dizitallink and deletes the access token Meta gave us. Your number and your WhatsApp Business Account stay yours in Meta.

You can also remove Dizitallink's access through Facebook at any time:

  1. Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings.
  2. Go to Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
  3. Find Dizitallink and choose Remove.

When you remove Dizitallink, we can no longer send or receive messages for your number. To also delete the data we already hold, send the email described above.

The business decides what happens to your messages, and Dizitallink processes them for the business.

  1. To stop messages, reply STOP to the business on WhatsApp.
  2. To have your messages and phone number deleted, ask the business directly.
  3. If the business does not respond within 30 days, or you cannot reach it, email [email protected] with the business name, your phone number and the date of the messages. We will work with the business to delete your data.

What we keep

We delete everything except what the law requires us to keep:

  • Invoices and payment records are kept for 8 years under Indian tax and company law.
  • Security logs are deleted within 90 days.
  • Encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.
